Attorney plans press conference following Reginald Thomas death
Attorney Caree Harper and the family of Reginald Thomas will hold a press conference on the steps of Pasadena City Hall at noon Monday.
Harper promised to discuss new developments in the case. Thomas, the father of eight, died early Friday after a confrontation with police at an apartment complex on Orange Grove Boulevard. Police said Thomas was armed with a knife and they twice used a Taser before a physical altercation occurred.
The officers involved have not yet been identified. An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Over the weekend protestors blocked traffic on Orange Grove Boulevard and shouted obscenities at motorists.
