A North Carolina-based critic picks Macky’s on West Duarte Road as the top Monrovia restaurant.

This might explain the closing of Applebees in Monrovia. Citing Yelp! reviews, a North Carolina-based restaurant critic says Monrovia is one of the best places to eat in the United States.

In a post on Manteo Reviews titled “Critic’s Choice,” reviewer Daniel Rini cites five outstanding local restaurants. They are:
