Double homicide linked to December killing, detectives say

The shooting of Brandon Douglas in December and a shooting at a curbside vigil in his honor weeks later are connected, according to Pasadena detectives. Detectives also released a composite sketch of a person believed involved in Douglas’ murder.

Brandon Douglas was killed on Dec. 22, at about 9:47 P.M., after a shooting in the 1200 Block of North Fair Oaks Avenue. The community later held a vigil in the area of 100 West Claremont, but that vigil was interrupted by another shooting that left two more Pasadena residents dead.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, between 33 and 35 years old, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 185 to 200 pounds.
