Dunkin’ Donuts’ next stop Pasadena

Dunkin’ Donuts will make its Pasadena debut in June. The chain will open a store on South Lake Avenue.

The popular chain restaurant, Dunkin’ Donuts will occupy a vacant storefront on South Lake Avenue in Pasadena and could open as early as June, officials said.

The store, to be located at 275 South Lake Avenue, will be the first of its kind simply branded “Dunkin.'”

This will be the San Gabriel Valley’s first Dunkin’ Donuts. The West Covina City Council recently approved a Dunkin’/Baskin-Robbins drive-through at South Hills Plaza on South Azusa Avenue. That restaurant could open in December.

Dunkin’ has recently begun a rebranding effort that has seen the chain focus more on beverages and less on donuts. The Massachusetts-based chain recently returned to Southern California after an absence of several decades.
