What to do on Labor Day Weekend

Decided to avoid traffic by staying at home for Labor Day? That doesn’t mean you have to be bored all weekend! Here’s a list of things to do every day from here ’til Tuesday!

Los Angeles County Fair

10 a.m. to midnight Sep. 2, 3, 4 and 5.
If you’re willing to brave crowds and a bit of heat, opening weekend at the County Fair is more than willing to provide Labor Day fun! This weekend will host rock n’ roll concert, cooking contests and all the fried cookie dough you can stomach!

626 Night Market
285 W. Huntington Drive Arcadia
4 p.m.-1 a.m. on Sep. 2, 3 and 4.
The 626 Night Market will have its final weekend in 2016 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $3, but for that price you can enjoy great music, vendors and food for the whole family.

Bristol Farms Hatch Chile Festival
606 Fair Oaks Ave. South Pasadena
8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sep. 3
Bristol Farms is kicking off Hatch Chile season with a plethora of dishes featuring this tasty treat from New Mexico! Featuring recipes like Hatch Chile Mac and Cheese, this South Pasadena foodie mecca will showcase its chef’s finest work for only a limited time.

E-Waste Shredding
1001 Rose Bowl Dr., Pasadena.
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sep. 3
Pasadena will be hosting an e-waste disposal event on Saturday, at the Rose Bowl. Sponsored by the Department of Public Works, residents and businesses can safely dispose of electronics and sensitive documents from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Parking Lot I of the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Mariachi Divas
85 E. Holly St., Pasadena
8 p.m. on Sep. 03
If you enjoyed the Mariachi Divas as few weeks ago when they played in Monrovia, now’s your chance to catch these Grammy Award winners in concert again at Memorial Park in Pasadena. And best of all, it’s free!

The Bunny Museum
1933 Jefferson Drive, Pasadena.
3-6 p.m. on Sep. 5
For only $5 (or absolutely nothing if you’re under 4), you can spend Labor Day at The Bunny Museum! Home of the world’s largest rabbit-related collection, the museum also accepts fruits and vegetables for the rabbits.
