The lines outside a popular Arcadia restaurant on South Baldwin Avenue will be a thing of the past later this month.

The experience that is Din Tai Fung — long waits, sometimes haughty service — will only be around until Monday at its original location. So get in line now!

Eater LA reports that popular Din Tai Fung will close its restaurant and annex on Baldwin Avenue this week.

Owners of the restaurant will finally open their “massive flagship” at the Westfield Mall just up the road, Eater reports. That’s been a longtime coming. More and more though the Arcadia Mall is becoming a foodie destination of sorts.

Here is what EaterLA had to say about the closing of one door and the opening of another:

The new Westfield Santa Anita version will come online Monday, July 11. That’s also the day that both Arcadia spaces will close, with the annex shuttering permanently at the original strip mall storefront going into heavy remodel mode. It’ll eventually return as a mostly takeaway option with a limited menu.

Want to bite into soup dumplings with a side of nostalgia? You’ve only got until Monday to make your way to the 16 year-old original in Arcadia. After that, it’s Westfield Santa Anita or bust.
