Badminton (Singles)
Arcadia Calif.
A Pasadena native, Wang was ranked 33rd in the world for women’s singles as of May 5, 2016. Badminton runs in her family — Older sister Rena is also an internationally ranked player.

Born in Hong Kong, Lee moved to the United States at only 6. Her father is a former badminton coach, but Lee began training with Peter Baum at 10.

El Monte Calif.
Born in Whittier, this outspoken gun control critic is a frequent sight around Monrovia as well. Her competition shotgun was stolen shortly after the 2008 Summer Olympics, but fans pitched in to purchase a new one for her.
